Marcie posted some bittersweet news on her blog last week - she is retiring from pattern publishing. I'm sad because I really do love all of her patterns, but I sure am happy for her! Now she doesn't have to worry about the pressure of it all. I know a lot of people think it's all fun and games, but it really isn't! It's a lot of work to write and publish patterns, and to get them out there in the market. Running a small business is not easy, and I don't blame her for being ready to retire. You can read her blog post here. She is going to sell the patterns that she currently has in stock, and when they are gone...they're gone. She will then be deleting her website, so you know what that means. You better go get them now, while you still can!

ReplyDeleteYep, I read this, too. Very sad. I have some of her patterns I have picked up along the way, but I still haven't made them. She has some really good ones!
