And here I think you can see who the reigning Queen is (that would be CC). Doesn't she just look like the Queen? She makes me laugh.
And here are a few more of the "Non Farmer's Wife" blocks (still no new name - sorry Joan and Janet).
That's all for now...hope you have a great day!
Great blocks...it's going to be a pretty quilt. Cute cats, too!
ReplyDeleteNever a dull moment at your house, Julie!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Sweet cats - obviously they know how important quilts are ;-)
ReplyDeleteCats reign supreme, don't they?
ReplyDeleteWell, you can't say Joan and I didn't try!
Looks like you used Bonnie's method on that top block--it is very good looking. When I see the blocks in these colors the words that come to mind are "crisp, striking, sharp, classy!" I love them!
Your cats must be like mine - wanting to be in the suitcase so they aren't left behind. When I pack I only pile the clothes on the bed and then put them into the suitcase at the last minute. Can't be leaving with more cat fur on clothes than usual!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about cats and packing? Whenever the suitcase comes out here they are in it or on it! ~Ann
ReplyDeleteYour cats remind me of small kids - always have to be in the middle of things. Bailey is like that too - always inquisitive.
ReplyDeleteI love your blocks - the red and black color way is really nice!
I like the way all your blocks will coordinate by keeping a simple color plan. Wish I would have done that with my FW blocks. They are a busy bunch!
ReplyDeleteLooks like cats are drawn to quilts in your household, too! CC and Callie look like they're having a ball! Nice work on the blocks!
ReplyDeleteKitties know a good thing when they see it! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhen my cat sees luggage, he knows he is not going to be happy for the next few days and starts acting more skittish than usual. We try to hide the fact that we are packing from him now just so he will stay calm enough to catch when it's time to leave.
ReplyDeleteAlso, he knows when I am up early and putting on make up that I'm fixing to leave him alone for a few hours. Poor kitties!
Well, hey, at least I got top billing! I'm not a farmer's wife, although my husband is a flower farmer's husband.
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish you weren't so far away...it would be so fun to see your guild presentation. You have some purrfect packing helpers. I love the fabric you are using in your Non Farmer's blocks.
ReplyDeleteGreat new blocks!
