What's happening here...

It seems that most everyone loves the fall season and the beautiful colors of the leaves.  Our trees have been really vibrant this year and I thought I would share what I see all day when I look out the window of my sewing room...
The picture really doesn't do justice to the true colors, but you get the idea.

I finally finished stitching the last block from the summer BOW from Primitive Gatherings and will share a picture of it next time.  I received the finishing kit and it did not disappoint - the wools are wonderful and the flannel for the setting triangles and border are a much deeper, richer red than what the pictures online look like.  I have the six setting squares prepped and ready to stitch.  They are simple hearts with stars, so they shouldn't take long (famous last words, right?).

I've sold a lot of Poor Lil' Punky kits...

Pumpkin pendants have been flying off the shelf as well.  Now I really need to go shopping for some more orange fabrics!
I've been really busy with "Charming" - you remember these are the charms from the first month.  I am almost finished piecing the second installment of charms, but the pattern is a secret, so I can't show them here just yet.  We still have to do the glass work on all of them, so we will be busy for awhile!
And, I'm still not caught up with my Non-Farmer's Wife blocks (shocking, I know!).  Only 3 behind at this point - so I can handle that.  That's what I've been up to - are you all keeping busy?

Now it's off to the dreaded treadmill!

  2. Um, I think you must be taking super enzymes or something - that's the only way ou can possibly get so much done!

  4. Gorgeous view, Julie. I wish my mountain view included water like that!
Have you had to make up more Lil' Punky kits?
I can't wait to get the next charm. Of course it isn't really "mine" until Christmas, but I still can't wait to see it!
Oh, good luck on the orange fabric. I wish there was more of it to be had in my neck of the woods.

  6. I'm not shocked that you haven't gotten caught up on your FW blocks - you have a lot going on making all those wonderful things.

Our trees were beautiful here this year too, but I think that our color is just about over. Hard to tell - it really hasn't been sunny for a few days - too much rain.

  7. I love the reflection in your pond - twice the color! We had that normal bluegray fall sky this morning but the sun was still low to the horizon and peaking out to highlight some trees in the distance. The difference from the leaves and sky was amazing. TGIF!

  8. My treadmill is the sidewalk, Julie and I just got off ;>) Your colors are amazing and they must inspire you each and every day! I'm so happy Poor Little Punky is flying off the shelf! Waiting with baited breath to see your last block!
    Cheers!
