What did you all do for Superbowl Sunday? I actually watched the game (but more importantly, the commercials) while sewing. I even sat and hand quilted for awhile - I really need to do that more often!

Weekend work!
Just a quick post to show you the pieces that we finished this weekend. Can you tell I was on an earring kick?
And a few more...look closely at the fabric...I was lucky enough to get my hands on the new Seasonal Gatherings fabric by Lisa Bongean. It won't be available in shops until April - you will want to own some of each and every piece! The colors are deep and rich...yummy! These are just a few, I've pieced more, but they aren't finished just yet.
Thanks to everyone who participated in Yard Sale Saturday - I really thought it was a blast and can't wait for the next one. I know I have plenty of things that I can offer up!

ReplyDeleteI also watched the Superbowl and did quiet a bit of hand stitching!! I enjoy the commercials too. What's funny is that I sat through the whole game whilst the boys left during the second half to build on an airplane model they are working on.

ReplyDeleteNo Super Bowl here. I've never seen one in my entire life--never even had it on in my house, as a child or adult. I know, I'm probably the only one.
Went to choir practice, church and then hosted a birthday dinner for my son and mother. Her 82nd birthday was last Thursday and my son's 27th birthday is this Wednesday. Had 13 of us there--just the usual Sunday dinner crowd. : )
Wow, Julie! You sure made great progress. They're all so lovely. It must be fun coming up with color combos. I'm amazed that you can spin these out so quickly. They seem like they would take quite a while to craft with all those teeny pieces. I watched a PBS program on the royal weddings during the Super Bowl.
