Here is the batch of pins that I FINALLY finished up yesterday...
Now I need to get back to making pendants!
Are any of you planning to do the Farmer's Wife "Sow-A-Long" that Randy is hosting at
Barrister's Block? I am seriously thinking about it - she is planning to make 6 of these small blocks each month, which seems manageable. I need to decide for sure...I have a tendency to ponder on these things for too long, then decide that I'm too far behind, so I don't start. When I see all of the wonderful finished products out in blogland, I kick myself for not doing it. So now to decide - what colorway? Scrappy? Red/black/tan? Pink/brown? Hmmmm. I've got to make a decision!!!
Have a great day!
I AM! After some consultation and a suggestion or two from Bonnie, my quilt will be "The Farmer's Missing Shirts". I am using my shirt stash, so it will be scrappy plaids, mostly, with a few stripes and solids thrown in. I'm getting started on my blocks today!! There are a lot of blocks and I was afraid of getting tired of a limited color palette before I was finished.
ReplyDeleteLove the pins (I do have 3), but I have decided that a scissors fob is my next purchase. Don't know how soon that will be, because I am going to town this morning and ordering a midarm machine!
These are so stinkin cute!!!
ReplyDeleteWow - more beautiful pins! Gosh, I'd love to join in with Randy, but too many other things call, unfortunately! I love the idea of red/black/tan! Happy deciding, Julie!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I always enjoy seeing your little treasures together like this! They are all beautiful but I must admit the pink and brown ones seem to captivate me the most! Keep up the great work! These are exquisite.
ReplyDeleteI admire the Farmer's Wife quilt but, knowing myself, I could never keep up with 6 blocks a month. I would be happy to encourage you on your 6 blocks tho! I vote for scrappy only because there are bound to be so many scraps from your mini quilts.
