Just the usual going on here...
Working on jewelry for our next show, called "It's a Gathering", which is in Stover, MO, on April 4th and 5th, at the Community Building. Here are a few new things that will be there...
It's really unbelievable how bad some of these pictures are!
I've also been busy sending out the newest charms- this is part of them - waiting for Marty the Mail Lady to pick them up...
I've been trying to do a little hand quilting in the evenings...
This is a Lori Smith pattern and I've been quilting it for well over a year. I've learned that it gets finished a lot faster if you actually WORK on it!
I'm also making a bunch of pin cushions to take to the show - and will share those with you next time.
My hubby made these awhile back - tiny little individual fruit pizzas - aren't they cute? They were really good too. He should make them again soon - they have to be good for you - look at all of that fruit!
(If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen most of these pics.)
And a picture (or two...or five) of a furry. You don't get to see Boomer too often and these pictures just make me laugh! DH gave him a little rawhide bone to chew on. I spotted him outside of my sewing room...just sitting...he looks like he's smoking a pipe.
Yep...just sitting in the yard with my bone...
You lookin' at me?
I think I will lay my bone down. That kitty better not try to touch it!
And, it's history!
That's all for now! Hope to see lots of you at the show.
Have a great day!
Had to enlarge the photos to get a better look at the new stuff. The kitties are a new thing, aren't they? And is that house in one of the pieces from P.G. new line?
ReplyDeleteI'm with ya on the fruit pizza. I use the same reasoning on regular pizza with the tomato sauce and vegetables on it. : )
Boomer is exuding a very untroubled attitude. I could use some of that.
Hope you do well at the show--wish I could see your booth. Would it be too much to hope for a photo of it? *LOL*
Fun filled post with all the jewelry plus Boomer...plus treats!!
ReplyDeleteReally really love the hand quilting. :)
the charms are lovely I like the triangles.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of Boomer. coco loves to sit outside and eat a treat. I always say she looks like she's smoking a cigar, lol.
I love the kitty charms, Julie! You'll have lots of fun at the show, I just know it! Your hand stitching is so even - I should be so lucky! Glad to see Boomer is having a good stogie, er, bone ;>) He looks darned happy!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Too cute! Great pics of your pup! Looks like he was having fun! Love that new quilt and all those pretties! You will do well in Stover again! We'll see you there next week!
ReplyDeleteI received my latest charm yesterday and I love it. My bracelet is getting so pretty with its dangling lovelies. I love your dog's attitude, too. I have a kitty who lays in the back yard with just her head poking under the gate so she can see what's happening outside the yard. It looks funny from both directions !~!
ReplyDeleteLove your charms! Rose has a favourite spot in the back yard where she likes to chew her bones, or sometimes things she has stolen! If I can't find something (like a sock which she is partial to!) the first place I look is in her "spot".....
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing pics of your newest projects. Such impressive groups, every one.
ReplyDeleteHand stitching at night is a great way to settle down after the hustle and bustle of the day. And I see that you've found the key to success in finishing a project --> working on it. (Got a good laugh out of that one).
Have a safe trip to your show this weekend, and best of luck with sales. I'm sure you'll find new friends and admirers.
So much creativeness going on at your place! Boomer is cute.
ReplyDeleteI spy the quilts in your bookcase behind your bag of shipments :-)
I'm wearing my charm today! Love it.
Guess what I have on today? My hexie charm that Mom got me several years ago. Glad to see you're still making them :) Good luck at the show!
ReplyDeleteI have pretty much given up hand quilting as the last project, which was a doll quilt, took me forever! I just really don't enjoy it very much. Good luck at your show! I love my pin.
ReplyDeleteOh having a good laugh with the pup! Love the pins too!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Julie, your jewelry is so wonderful! I do wear mine a lot! You keep getting more and more variety. You are quite a speed sewer!
