And pie making...
Both of these are really easy - the strawberry chiffon has jello and cool whip, and the strawberry glaze will have cool whip on the top. They both have disappeared already and yesterday I made strawberry shortcake. And now there are more strawberries waiting to be picked, so it's time to come up with another recipe.
And look what I "finished". It still needs to be quilted, but it is all pieced together! This is a terrible picture, it's not nearly this bright, but you get the idea.
And I thought I would share some jewelry pictures. There are some new things on my website, so take a look...
Now I'm off to pick some strawberries!
Have a great weekend!
My strawberries are still green--I am so jealous!
ReplyDeleteI'm also jealous of your sampler quilt. I should quit being jealous and make one.
Love the jewelry!
YUMM! Looks tasty! And love your quilt! Nice job! Did you use "that" red fabric?? Haha!! Have a great afternoon!
ReplyDeleteAnd, of course, your jewelry is so darling!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful jewels, as always! And oh do I miss those mid-west strawberries! Homegrown are always so much better than what we get in the grocery store! And I want PIE!
ReplyDeletela tarta tiene un aspecto muy bueno, no me extraña que se terminara pronto

ReplyDeleteYour strawberry dishes have me salivating on the other side of the world,
Your quilt is beautiful. I have been admiring the pieces that you made for Lynette Anderson and now these ones. Inspiration on all fronts. Love it all.
Oh my, now I want to rush out and buy some strawberries to make a pie! Great progress on your quilty projects!
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt! Very, very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI'm playing catch up...we've got plenty of strawberries here as well. Mom and I made freezer jam Sunday and I think I'm going to make ice cream with my last pint today...

ReplyDeleteHi Betty - You are a "no reply blogger" so I can't respond to you! If you would let me know your e-mail address, I would be happy to share the recipes!
