I took this picture yesterday as I was hanging my glass snowflakes. We made these at my mom's shop a few years ago. They are easy and fun to make and I love seeing them in the winter! I usually leave them up until March. This one isn't as bright as it looks here.
And this is what it looks like this morning! I was excited when I woke up to snow. Funny how I've changed my tune, since I now work from home. I hated the snow when I had to drive in it every day. Now I just love it - so beautiful and peaceful. Perfect day for sewing! I was just getting ready to take this picture, and the cardinal flew in - perfect timing!
This is the tree in my sewing room. So many ornaments that I love. They always bring back so many memories.
And a few Christmas trees of a different variety! These trees are 1 1/2" paper pieced pendants - you can see them on my website. The smaller ones are 1 1/4".
And some pictures of it all while I was getting them ready to mail - it's a process, for sure.
Part of them all ready to go!
This is a busy time of year for me - lots of people have been doing their Christmas shopping on my website! (Thanks to all of you!!). Here are just a few that we finished up yesterday - all 1 1/2" pendants.
And now it's time to get busy! Hope you have a great day!
Loved the whole post, Julie!
ReplyDeleteVery cool snowflake in the window, and I love the wintery view outside the window--and with a Cardinal!! I am so jealous. Wish we had those here!
Great sewing room tree--about 4 times the size of my sewing room tree. I see some familiar ornaments on it. : )
More wonderful jewelry. You are amazing with the tiny things you create!
The pincushion boxes are such a good idea. Perfect for binding a quilt. And they look so colorful and fun--even when they are all wrapped up.
I should say you need to show a photo of that whole little finish! Did you do Bud Garden, or Little Buds in black?
What a whole lot of loveliness! You have been busy, but I'm glad you are still making time for quilting. The snow photo with the cardinal is amazing!
